I deal with most aspects of Notarial work and can seek to guide you through the requirements of different jurisdictions including the preparation, legalisation and certification of documents for use in a foreign country

When dealing with Private Clients I cover such matters as

  • Authentication and certification of identity
  • Execution of Powers of Attorney
  • Taking statements, declarations and affidavits for use abroad
  • Dealing with consent for minors to travel abroad

and for Business Clients such matters as

  • Authentication of all kinds of company and commercial documents
  • Powers of Attorney and authentication for company activities to be carried out abroad
  • Authentication of patent and trademark documents

This list is not exhaustive but I hope indicative

 

How much will be the notarial cost

I will seek to let you know how much the matter is going to cost before I start work requesting in the case of documents to be notarised copies thereof generally by them being scanned as I deal mainly in fixed fees. If you require me to attend a meeting of unknown length I will charge on a time basis being £125 per hour

Complaints procedure

  1. If you are dissatisfied with the service you have received please do not hesitate to contact me.
  2. If you remain dissatisfied you may complain to the Notaries Society of which I am a member and who have a Complaints Procedure approved by the Faculty Office. This is free to use and is designed to provide a quick resolution to any dispute
  3. In that case please write (but do not enclose any original documents) to Christopher Vaughan, Secretary of the Notaries Society, P O Box 7655, Milton Keynes MK11 9NR. Email: secretary@ the notariessociety.org.uk
  4. If you have any difficulty making a complaint do not hesitate to call the Notaries Society for assistance
  5. Finally even if you may have your complaint considered under the Complaints’ Procedure you may at the end of that procedure or after a period of eight weeks from the date you first notified me of your dissatisfaction, make your complaint to the Legal Ombudsman if you are not happy with the result at PO Box 6806, Wolverhampton WV1 9WJ tel no 0300 555 0333 Email: enquires@legalombudsman.org.uk
  6. If you decide to make a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman within six months of the complaint process

I am insured by Tokyo Marine HCC for professional indemnity up to £1,000,000 and the insurance is worldwide.
